6 Strange Buildings That’ll Make You Say WTH

We can’t deny that our planet has masterpieces aplenty when it comes to architecture. Earth houses several unique things, including these unusual and weird-looking buildings. These structures are primarily known for their far-out shapes and making us go “what the hell?!”

Without further ado, let’s take a look at these baffling beauties:

Cybertecture Egg Office Building

Starting close to home, the Cybertecture Egg Office in Mumbai (India) is a poultry-inspired building—an architectural wonder. The office is designed by a Hong Kong-based firm and boasts of an iconic architecture complimented with environmental design, excellent control systems, and evolutionary engineering.

Independence Temple

This building in Missouri is worship as well as an educational place dedicated to peace. The breathtaking architecture dominates the skyline of the city of Missouri and the temple is the main point of the Community of Christ headquarters. It represents an amalgamation of modern and traditional religious art.

Wing-Shape Zayed National Museum

Situated on the beautiful Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi (UAE), this is the first museum there which showcases the history, culture, and socio-economic journey of the country. The towers look like thermal chimneys, and the museum has various performance areas.

Ren Building

This attractive structure is located in Shanghai (China). The Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) from Copenhagen had proposed the design as a replica of the Chinese character Person, keeping Shanghai’s “Better City, Better Life” 2010 World Expo theme in mind.

Earth House

This one looks a lot like the Hobbit holes, doesn’t it? Earth House, located in Switzerland, is a design marvel that utilizes natural terrains for its walls. People have been living in these houses for years now and this falls under one of the strangest places to live in.

Basket Building

This giant basket-shaped building in Ohio (USA) is a visual treat, to say the least. The building houses Longaberger Basket Company’s headquarters, and is an exact replication of a shopping basket and is 160 times bigger than a Longaberger’s basket! It has turned into one of the most visited tourist spots in the city.
